The chef and award-winning cookbook author graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute and heads the Healing Kitchens Institute in Bolinas. Her four-course menu ranges from Ruby Red Beet Soup to Latin American Chicken Stew.
Chef Rebecca won two awards from the International Association of Culinary Professionals competition in 2010 with “The Cancer-Fighting Kitchen,” now in its second edition. The same group in 2014 honored “The Longevity Cookbook” as a finalist. We’ll have books on hand for purchase and signing at the event.
As founder and director of the Healing Kitchens Institute at Commonweal, the health and environmental research institute in Bolinas, she became a nationally known wellness expert. She now leads a company called Healing Kitchens dedicated to promoting wholesome food.
All proceeds from Fresh Starts Chef Events support shelter, housing and job-training programs at Homeward Bound of Marin.
