Chef Mark Stark puts a bounce in our summer steps on Thursday, July 18, when he joins Fresh Starts Chef Events to present inspiration from Sonoma County’s homegrown abundance.

The owner, with wife Terri Stark, of newly reopened Willi’s Wine Bar and five other restaurants, Chef Mark has nurtured distinctive styles in each establishment. Their Stark Reality Restaurants range from Bravas Bar de Tapas to Stark’s Steak & Seafood.

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, the chef honed his skills in Washington, D.C., and Seattle before arriving in the Wine Country. The ventures of Stark Reality Restaurants have earned Michelin Bib Gourmand honors and Chef Mark has been chosen “Best Local Chef” by readers of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat as well as North Bay Bohemian.
