Point Reyes Chef Presents Artisan Cheese

Chef Jennifer Luttrell of Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese appears Thursday, March 9, at Fresh Starts Chef Events to share recipes and pairing ideas for favorite local cheeses.

The Point Reyes Farmstead crew operates from a West Marin ranch founded in 1959, where the Giacomini Dairy is run by second-generation family farmers. Chef Jennifer will talk about choosing and serving distinctive cheese as well as demonstrate recipes from this iconic West Marin producer.

Our event gets a jump on the California Artisan Cheese Festival, which offers a March 24 tour to Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese. Both cheeses featured in our menu have won multiple awards, including the Best Cheese of the Year honors for Bay Blue at the 2016 California State Fair.
