We offer 11 weeks of hands-on learning in core culinary skills. Our job-training course includes cooking techniques, ingredients and equipment, kitchen hygiene and the opportunity to earn Food Handler and ServSafe Manager certification. This tuition-free course is recognized by the American Culinary Federation.
Along with kitchen activities, trainees will learn customer service skills and participate in classroom sessions with time for professional development, financial literacy and job placement support. Fresh Starts Culinary Academy offers a $1,000 completion bonus and the opportunity to apply for transitional employment in our kitchens. Transportation assistance is available and uniforms are provided.
