Mental health services program
Homeward Bound operates a Mental Health Services Program that provides shelter services and long-term supportive housing. Residents are referred to the program by the county’s Behavioral Health & Recovery Services.
Jonathan's Place
The supportive housing program at Jonathan’s Place in San Rafael reserves 15 rooms for residents referred by Marin County’s Behavioral Health & Recovery Services. This program offers a place for people with complex challenges to open new paths toward stability and health. Staff members from Behavioral Health & Recovery Services hold regular office hours there, while our team provides full-time support.

Voyager Carmel Center
36 rooms for adults struggling with mental illness, with 10 rooms reserved for shelter services and 26 rooms for long-term supportive housing. The center occupies the former Carmel hotel in San Rafael, with services that include 24-hour staff, community activities like outings and barbecues, and support to enhance individual strengths.
