If you’re inspired to start a culinary career, apply now for our next session at Fresh Starts Culinary Academy! Classes begin Monday, May 16.
Students will begin with kitchen orientation and study to earn Food Handler certification. Then you dive into 10 weeks of intensive hands-on training in food prep and cooking, service, kitchen operations and teamwork. Our award-winning program helps you move quickly from training to employment, with job placement assistance for all graduates.
Fresh Starts Culinary Academy operates from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays in our 3,500-square-foot professionally equipped kitchen in Novato. Students will earn ServSafe certifications and may have the opportunity for paid employment outside of training hours.
Last year, 85 percent of graduates secured employment within 30 days of completing their training. Get started today with our online application! If you have questions, please contact Chef Andy Wild at 415-382-3363 x231.
