Adding to the amazing milestones we’ll celebrate this 50th anniversary year, Co-Chief Executive Officer Mary Kay Sweeney shares the news that she will close 31 years of amazing leadership and retire at the end of 2024.
Our Board of Directors has elevated Paul Fordham to become our Chief Executive Officer, recognizing his 20 years of achievement at Homeward Bound as the ideal choice to continue the dedicated progress toward our goal of ending homelessness with training, housing and hope.
“For me, this time has been the most purposeful, joyful, challenging, rewarding and fulfilling in my life,” Mary Kay says. “Working alongside incredibly kind, talented, and dedicated staff and board members has been a pure gift.” Paul’s leadership “is a tremendous beacon in a time of growth and change,” she adds.
