You can make a difference for families in crisis on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 2! We need your help to renovate Marin’s only emergency shelter for parents and children seeking to start a journey toward stability and resilience.
Starting today, your contribution receives a dollar-for-dollar match to complete projects that will ensure dignity and care for families who need a place to begin anew. All of them arrive determined to create a better life for their children and to regain the stability they need to nurture thriving families. At our Family Center shelter, they receive food assistance, coaching for housing and job search, and support to set goals that will help them move forward.
Opened in 1974, Family Center is a 1920s-era home with room for nine families. This much-loved building has launched stories of success through decades of service and now needs upgrades so struggling families always have a place to turn.
