Time to think about spring cleaning for your files! With partnership from Valley Oak Wealth Management, we’re inviting you to bring unneeded papers to the 11th annual Big Shred from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 29.
Sponsorship by the Valley Oak team means all donations for secure shredding will support our project to build 24 apartments for unhoused veterans. The event at Our Lady of Loretto School, 1806 Novato Blvd., accepts up to five bags of papers per car (please no boxes or plastic bags!)
Volunteers will be available to help unload your bags at the drive-through event. Services are available until the shredding trucks are full.
Last year’s event served 500 cars and raised approximately $10,000 for the new veterans community, which will sit next to our Admin Office in Novato. The program will expand specialized services for former service members in our programs. Last year we served 54 veterans.
