Computer Skills Tutor

Help Trainees Build Computer Skills

Our Novato campus hosts Fresh Starts Culinary Academy, where adults seeking new opportunities can enroll in 11 weeks of free, hands-on training. We serve up to 40 people yearly who earn a Certificate in Culinary Arts.

We’re seeking a dedicated volunteer to mentor a small group of culinary trainees who are eager to gain technology skills. These learners need to build foundational computer skills to support professional and personal development.

The volunteer tutor will design and deliver a 10-week beginner-friendly course to expand their confidence and skills. You will provide hands-on instruction, patient guidance and a supportive environment that respects varying skill levels.

Your contribution empowers culinary trainees with essential skills that enhance employability and confidence as they move into their careers. You will create lasting impact by reducing the technology gap for a group of motivated, hands-on learners.
