Sign Up for a Painting Project
Refresh shelter and housing sites
Our shelter and housing programs around Marin provide year-round services to adults and families moving out of homelessness. We need occasional help to refresh these well-used spaces with new paint, ensuring that we provide warm, dignified spaces for people we serve. We are looking for small teams (5 to 7 volunteers) or individuals to help paint hallways, doors, fences or more areas that may need care. This project offers a tangible way to help people moving toward stability while learning about our work.
How You Can Help
Working in coordination with onsite staff, the volunteer or team will paint using paint and materials provided by Homeward Bound of Marin.
Volunteer requirements:
- Basic painting experience
- Age 18+ years
- Ability to work neatly and follow directions
- Reliability and commitment to the full project
- One designated group leader to communicate with staff
