We extend our warmest thanks to everyone who attended our Open House and Community Breakfast to salute veterans. It was our privilege to host you and lead tours of our project that can end veteran homelessness in Marin!
More than 100 people attended to share breakfast and hear from Marin County Supervisor Eric Lucan and Novato Mayor Susan Wernick. We’re also grateful to Rick Saber and Jim Stein of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7816 for sharing their encouraging words.
We appreciated all the guests who took time to sign our wooden beam with your best wishes to future residents of our veterans building. The beam, covered with your messages, will be installed as a permanent part of the structure!
Thank you again for joining us. To support completion of this 24-unit building, you can make a gift online. If you weren’t able to attend but would like a tour, please contact Development Director Corry Kanzenberg by email or call 415-382-3363 x216.
