Hairstylist or Barber

Help people look their best

We’re looking for people to visit once a week for 2 hours at one of our shelter or housing programs.

Do you love helping people look and feel their best? We need trained stylists and barbers to put their compassion and talents into action by offering haircuts to participants in our programs. Your help not only gives hair a fresh look, but your service lifts spirits and self-esteem.

This is an excellent opportunity to provide direct assistance to participants in our shelter and permanent supportive housing programs. Our sites last year served more than 800 people, including seniors, veterans, parents and children, and others working to build resilience and independence in our community.

To learn more, please contact Community Engagement Coordinator Andrea Rey.
