April gives us a whole month to celebrate volunteers, yet it’s not enough! The many people who offer their warm-hearted help throughout the year become a mainstay of our operations, from the kitchen to the garden to special events and shelter services. We’re forever grateful.
As new programs opened in the past year, neighbors and supporters stepped up to offer their help. They put together furniture, made beds, brought dinners and offered expertise in everything from decor to contracts. With your help, we’ve turned new buildings into homes and helped ongoing programs maintain their vital services.
In this month of appreciation, we invite you to visit our volunteer page to see the variety of roles open now for people who want to make a difference in ending homelessness with our team. We’re looking for hair stylists, office help, meal servers and a chess coach!
Thank you to everyone who has offered a helping hand. We can’t do this work without you!
